The sales experience was honest and easy, I do think our Nissan certified check over was no more than an oil change, wash and vacuum. The low tire light was on and the a/c wasn’t cooling correctly, both of them should have been found and fixed during a certification check but instead I had to take it to another shop for repairs at my expense

He took the time to answer all of our questions, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Sales/finance were 5 star. Having the tires over inflated by 13/14 lbs and glue remnants from the dealer sticker where the vehicle was transferred from was disappointing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would never recommend purchasing a vehicle from, or servicing a vehicle with, John Sinclair Nissan. Our experience has been nothing but frustration, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. My wife and I purchased a brand-new Nissan Rogue from this dealership, along with the 100,000-mile extended warranty sold at the time of purchase. Over the years, the vehicle has been in and out of service for multiple issues. The most serious issue began approximately four months ago when the vehicle started consuming an entire reservoir of coolant every 50-100 miles. My wife brought the vehicle to John Sinclair Nissan's service department multiple times for this problem. During the first visit, their recommendation was simply to continue driving the vehicle and keep refilling the coolant as needed. Anyone with basic automotive knowledge knows that a vehicle rapidly losing coolant has a serious underlying problem that should be diagnosed and repaired—not ignored. On a subsequent visit, we were told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and it was returned to us with the coolant topped off. When we brought the vehicle back yet again, we were informed that it would require an engine tear-down for diagnosis. The dealership was reluctant to take the vehicle because of the work involved and advised that it would be approximately one month before they could even begin. Despite our extended warranty coverage, we were not provided a loaner vehicle, forcing us to arrange and pay for alternative transportation ourselves. What followed was even more unacceptable. It took nearly THREE MONTHS before the dealership actually performed the engine tear-down. Once completed, we were informed that the vehicle requires a new engine. At that point, we expected the extended warranty we purchased through this dealership to cover the repair. Instead, we were told that the warranty had been voided, but nobody at John Sinclair Nissan could explain why. When my wife contacted the warranty company directly, she was informed that Nissan had voided the warranty. To be clear: this vehicle has approximately 90,000 miles, meaning it is still well within the 100,000-mile warranty coverage we purchased. Throughout this entire process, nobody at the dealership seemed to know what was happening. Phone calls went unanswered or resulted in vague explanations. We repeatedly asked for updates and received little to no useful information. No one appeared willing or able to take ownership of the situation. Based on our experience, one of the following must be true: The dealership is grossly incompetent. The extended warranties being sold are not worth the paper they are printed on. Customer service and accountability are simply not priorities at this dealership. As of today, we are still waiting for answers regarding why the warranty was voided and what John Sinclair Nissan intends to do to resolve this situation. John Sinclair Nissan: Make this right.

The customer service is great but the wait the last 2 times has been way too long. My appointment for an oil change was at 11:30 and at 2:30 I asked how much longer and then in a few minutes, they said it was ready. Just too long to set there

Update: They made it right, and got us fixed with a new transmission. As they put it, it shows character in how you make things right. Leaving our story, because even though it shows fault, it shows how when they make a mistake, their business aims to fix things. We recently bought a 2019 Ford Expedition at Cape Girardeau location. We don’t get to test drive the car because they were pushing it through service and detail and hurried us to do paperwork while it was being detailed. We purchased the car against better judgement and drove it off the lot for the first time. We noticed immediately that it shifted hard. We got a diagnosis done at Ford Groves, and found out the WHOLE transmission needs replaced. I feel that both the sales team and the service people should’ve caught the hard shift and/or the burnt dark transmission fluids. I have sent an email to you, John Sinclair, and I am hoping this is made right. Picture of the diagnostic findings attached. First time at John Sinclair for my entire family and will be the last if not made right.

My entire experience was great from start to end. Emma was fantastic and talked me through each step, explaining as we went through each problem with my vehicle. I can't express to you enough how wonderful a job the Service team did. I had an emergency tire puncture at 8 AM Tuesday morning. As the air hissed out rapidly from the tire, I rang Sinclair Nissan (no-one else even came to mind, you do such good work) to see if there was any way they could help me fix it. I spoke to Denise and she went out of her way to fit my emergency into an already busy service schedule. Denise was kind, courteous, and empathetic and made me feel like someone - a complete stranger, at that - had my back. Can't tell you how good that made me feel. I managed to get to Sinclair with about 14 psi left in the tire and Emma (who's always an absolute delight!) took over from there. Professional and helpful, Emma got me sorted in just a few hours time - and at that at only the cost of a tire patch. The Sinclair Service team literally made my day yesterday. It had been sort of garbage-y and only seemed to get worse, but Denise (who took time to chat with me while I waited for my ride) and Emma made the day actually tolerable. I can't thank them - or Sinclair Nissan - enough!

On the coldest day of winter my driver side window would not go up. The dealership worked me in to evaluate the problem ordered the parts and temporarily fixed the window. Even with the road conditions, the parts were delivered and I was once again warm and cozy in my car. Thank you Debbie and the rest of the staff for great customer service and quick turnaround time.

Great experience with Ashley Griggs and team on the purchase of a vehicle and trade-in. We bought the truck from 500+ miles away and were able to effortlessly transact, have the truck delivered to our home and exchanged with our trade.
