Even if antiquing isn’t really your thing, you’ve no doubt heard of Annie Laurie’s eclectic emporium before, as it’s a Cape Girardeau institution. This two-story shop looks like an elegant, colorful home but houses a veritable treasure trove of antiques in its 5,000 square feet.

Discover clothes, furniture, antique items, and a slew of other vintage things in the aisles of Annie Laurie’s. If you’re shopping for items to decorate your home, you should also check out all the plants and flowers you can find here. Best of all, if you have trouble pairing a collection of eclectic items together for a new room in your house or whatever you may be decorating, Annie Laurie’s offers design services to help take that load off your mind.

As a bonus, you can also earn extra cash from your old items at Annie Laurie’s. This shop has both consignment programs and estate sales, so if you have some old clothes or items you want to get rid of or are moving and would like to sell most of what you own, head on down to Annie Laurie’s and strike a deal.

Walking through the gallery is like being transported back in time, sometimes as far as a century ago. Unlike some other antique shops that specialize in relatively recent vintage items, Brick Street Gallery prides itself on selling well-preserved items from decades past, including the 70s and before.

Stop by and spend an hour or two making your way through various eras while keeping an eye out for a piece of history you can take home with you.

Judith’s Antiques & Gung Ho Militaria

As the name might suggest, Judith’s Antiques & Gung Ho Militaria offers a variety of antiques but is known best for its extensive collection of military memorabilia, such as old uniforms, satchels, helmets, and a whole lot of military surplus.

If army antiques aren’t your cup of tea, don’t worry; Judith’s has two stories full of other vintage finds as well, including retro furniture that’ll give your home the finishing touch it needs. You can also browse the antique shop’s collection of seasonal decor, kitchen supplies and accessories, dishware, and antique chests.

Take the time to truly look around, and you might discover some quirkier items, such as fortune-telling cards.
